A Church Choir Director’s Seminar

Tuning @ Tahoe is a program for choral directors from all denominations and church sizes. No matter how extensive or limited your experience, you are welcome. We offer workshops, reading sessions, rehearsals, open forums, and worship, as well as three levels of conducting classes.

Faculty

Guest Clinician- Larry Nickel

Larry Nickel is an Associate Composer of the Canadian Music Center. He is active as a composer, teacher, music minister, choral clinician and sings bass in the Vancouver Chamber Choir. The child of missionary parents, Larry discovered his musical gift while studying in India under the International Baccalaureate Program. Larry’s music is performed around the world.

Clinician; Dr. Katharin Rundus

Kathi is a nationally known conductor, voice teacher, and singer from Seal Beach, CA.

The Reverend Dr. Clayton A. Cobb will focus on the ministerial aspect of music in the Church. He is the pastor of St. Peter’s by the Sea Presbyterian Church in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.

Dean & Clinician: Allan Petker

Allan is a conductor and publisher from San Pedro, CA
