The Guest Service Associate provides excellent guest service by attending to guest needs ranging from property orientation, on-site transportation, and general guest questions. The Guest Service Associate will have a genuine interest in and compassion for the mission of Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center, its growth and expansion, and be familiar with all facets of the Zephyr Point organization, programs and facilities to effectively interpret and provide services to guests and staff.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Food Services, the Food Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of kitchen operations including leading a team of kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities also include coordinating meal service with other departments and special event coordination.

The Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing food according to business levels, recipes, and production guidelines, while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. Responsibilities of the position may vary based on Zephyr Point business needs, changing staffing arrangements, and needs of supervisors and managers. The Cook directly reports to the Director of Food Services and oversees kitchen staff in the absence of managerial staff.

Twice a year, our Facilities and Grounds team assists our “Sprucing Up in the Pines” volunteers to prepare for our busy summer season or to prepare for winter.
