Zephyr Point maintains a waitlist for cabins in the peak season, early June to late August, when there is limited availability. The annual waitlist process takes place in the fall (September/October) and consists of three rounds. Guests who have been on the waitlist the longest will be notified first (e.g., 5 or more years), followed by more recent request dates (e.g., 2-5 years), and ending with the most recent request dates (e.g., less than 2 years). Waitlist notices are sent by email showing all cabins available during the next year’s peak season. Recipients are given a deadline to respond with their top three cabin choices (typically 4-7 days).
Guests who have been on the waitlist the longest are granted their first choice of cabin. Guests whose requests are not fulfilled from one round will be included in subsequent rounds with the opportunity to request different cabins for different times. After the waitlist process, courtesy emails will be sent with notice of changes to cabin availability (if you opt in to courtesy emails). These cabins are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
What do you need to do to get on the waitlist? Review the waitlist policies below and submit the Waitlist Request Form. Annually, in the fall (September), an email will be sent requiring guests to re-submit a waitlist request to stay active and participate in the waitlist process.
