Cabin waitlist

Zephyr Point maintains a waitlist for cabins in the peak season, early June to late August, when there is limited availability. The annual waitlist process takes place in the fall (September/October) and consists of three roundsGuests who have been on the waitlist the longest will be notified first (e.g., 5 or more years), followed by more recent request dates (e.g., 2-5 years), and ending with the most recent request dates (e.g., less than 2 years). Waitlist notices are sent by email showing all cabins available during the next year’s peak season. Recipients are given a deadline to respond with their top three cabin choices (typically 4-7 days).

Guests who have been on the waitlist the longest are granted their first choice of cabin. Guests whose requests are not fulfilled from one round will be included in subsequent rounds with the opportunity to request different cabins for different times. After the waitlist process, courtesy emails will be sent with notice of changes to cabin availability (if you opt in to courtesy emails). These cabins are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

What do you need to do to get on the waitlist? Review the waitlist policies below and submit the Waitlist Request Form. Annually, in the fall (September), an email will be sent requiring guests to re-submit a waitlist request to stay active and participate in the waitlist process.

Waitlist Policy

  • Entries on the waitlist are by request only via the form below. A valid email address is required.
  • One entry per family; fulfilled requests may be booked under an immediate family member’s name.
  • The waitlist and courtesy emails do not constitute a guarantee of a cabin booking for the specified time in any year.
  • Standard booking policies apply to cabin rentals booked from the waitlist.
  • Once a booking is made, the request is immediately removed from the waitlist. By request, guests are eligible to be re-added to the waitlist and the active date will be reset.
  • Guests who do not respond to the annual waitlist renewal request will removed from the waitlist. Guests may be re-added to the waitlist at any time in the future but the active date will be reset.
