Zephyr Point is excited to introduce our newest program: Youth Leadership Summit (YLS).
The Youth Leadership Summit is designed to cultivate leadership potential in high schoolers ages 15-17. Each week, participants will have opportunities to grow as leaders while experiencing all the fun of camp and connecting to their peers and young adult mentors.
Zephyr Point’s model for leadership development is built on three key methods.
Entrance into this program is through application only. If you are interested in cultivating your leadership potential in a safe and fun camp environment, we invite you to apply.
The Youth Leadership Summit is designed as a two-week program. We recommend that participants attend both weeks to get the most out of the experience. However, we know that many high school students are busy with jobs and various responsibilities. Considering this, we welcome students to attend for just one week when two is not an option.
During the application you will indicate which weeks you are available and intend to attend. This will be considered when selecting applicants.
* Registration fee remains the same even if you are only available to participate in one week of YLS.
The first week will focus on developing the skills and understanding to lead with empathy and connection.
The second week will focus on cultivating a better understanding and practice of communication skills needed to be an effective leader.

Safety is a priority at Zephyr Point. All of our Summer staff is CPR and First Aid certified, and your child will always be supervised by certified American Red Cross lifeguards while swimming, kayaking, and any other activities by the water. In addition COVID-19 precautions will be taken as necessary according to state and county mandates.
Medical forms
All campers will be required to complete the 2025 Child-Youth Medical Form prior to the start of camp. This will be on your registration page and will open 45 days before the first week of camp. We will send email reminders to everyone. Camp Zephyr requires new, up-to-date medical forms each summer. We cannot let campers participate without receiving these forms prior to their arrival at camp.
Zephyr Point is accredited by the American Camp Association. This important accreditation highlights our ongoing commitment to providing a safe, enriching, and high-quality camp experience for all of our campers. The ACA accreditation process is rigorous, involving a thorough review of our programs, staff qualifications, safety standards, facilities, and overall camp operations. As an accredited camp, we have met or exceeded more than 200 standards for health, safety, and program quality established by the ACA, a leading authority in the camping industry.
