We extend a warm welcome to individual and group rentals year-round in our 40+ charming cabins, perfect for family getaways, conferences, reunions, and more. Each cabin features its own unique character, accommodating 2 to 16 guests, with full kitchens, cozy living spaces, and many offering breathtaking lake views. Whether you’re planning a getaway or a group gathering, reconnect with nature and unwind from the demands of daily life.

Zephyr Point’s cabins are some of the most budget-friendly lodging options in South Lake Tahoe, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and rustic comfort. Each cabin varies in location, size, decor, and style.  While our Lake Tahoe cabins are thoughtfully TV-free, complimentary WiFi is available. Nestled among 24 acres of the Zephyr Point Camp and Conference Center, our cabins offer more than just a place to stay—they provide a connection to the serenity of Lake Tahoe’s shores and the warmth of a welcoming community. These limited-service, vacation-rental-style cabins capture the coziness of a true Tahoe experience.

Zephyr Point’s cabins are rustic and simple, each unique in size, price, furnishings and accessibility.

Amenities: Every cabin has an equipped kitchen, outdoor charcoal BBQ*, bedding, pillows, towels, and hand soap (beds not pre-made). A complete list of kitchen furnishings is available here. Wi-Fi is included and some cabins have designated parking (all others must park in upper lots). Items not included: hair dryer, shampoo/body wash, phone, television, charcoal, or condiments/spices.

*Due to seasonal fire restrictions, generally expected from July through November, the charcoal BBQs are sometimes unavailable for use. There are currently NO fire restrictions in effect.

There are a few important things to know about cabin rates and booking dates as you consider options:

  • In addition to the nightly rate, Douglas County occupancy tax rates of 14% plus a $5.00 per night tourism surcharge apply for individual reservations.
  • Minimum two-night booking required.
  • Seven-night (Saturday to Saturday) booking is required for Peak Season reservations. Peak Season requests may be subject to a waiting list.
  • Peak Season rates apply for summer reservations mid-June to mid-August.
    • 2025 Peak Season Dates: June 7 – August 16
    • 2026 Peak Season Dates: June 13 – August 15
  • For Peak Season, requests for a two-night minimum stay will be accepted 30 days in advance of the desired check-in date (i.e., for July 1, requests will be accepted on June 1). Requests for Cabin 12 for non-pastors will also be accepted within this timeframe.
  • If you are an active or retired PC(USA) pastor, you can request a 15% discount be added to your booking by emailing cabins@zephyrpoint.org with a description of your eligibility.
  • Published rates are not guaranteed until confirmed with a contract.

Take a moment to read through our Booking Policies for individual/family rentals to ensure a smooth reservation process.

  • A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $50/night is required.

  • The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

  • Families are limited to one rental week in the Peak Season.

  • All arrangements relating to a group event are to be included on a single contract and facilitated by one main contact.
  • The contract holder must be at least 21 years old.

  • The contract holder must be on the premises at all times and may not sublet to non-contracted individuals.

  • Maximum occupancy of facility equivalent to bed count: 1 person per twin, 2 persons per double/queen (ages 4+). The number of guests in the booking party on the property at any given time may not exceed the maximum occupancy of the facility.

  • Zephyr Point welcomes service animals but does not permit pets or emotional support animals.
  • Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted in privately rented facilities. Alcohol is prohibited in shared public areas.

Please note, if you are coming to Zephyr Point as part of a group or to attend an event, you must register and book lodging through the group. We do not accept individual reservations for guests attending or affiliated with a group event. The booking process and policies for groups are found here.

Cabin guests are welcome to partake in delicious, cafeteria-style meals in our dining halls when they are served for conference groups. Reservations can be made at the front desk (775-588-6759 ext. 0) within 30 days of arrival (parties of 5+ people require a 10-day notice). Click here for current meal rates.
